01 / Who this is for

For exporters with proof of market—but incomplete coverage

This offer is for an Indian manufacturer that already sells into a country and now needs more accounts, better regional or channel coverage, or less dependence on one relationship.

Manufacturer profile

  • Exporters with one dominant importer or distributor
  • Manufacturers whose sales in the market have plateaued
  • Teams with incomplete regional or channel coverage
  • Exporters ready to add distributors, wholesalers or direct accounts

Typical internal stakeholders

  • Founder or managing director
  • Export head
  • International sales leader
  • Regional sales manager
  • Business development head

02 / The problem

Market presence can hide a fragile sales base

One successful relationship proves there is demand. It does not prove the market is fully covered—or that the current revenue base is resilient.

This is not market-entry consulting. You already know the market. The commercial question is: how do we systematically capture more of it?

  1. 01

One distributor represents most of the country’s revenue.

  2. 02

Export sales have plateaued despite known market demand.

  3. 03

The existing importer covers only part of the country or channel mix.

  4. 04

The team knows more buyers exist but has not mapped them.

  5. 05

Historical enquiries and trade-fair leads were not followed up consistently.

  6. 06

There is no repeatable outbound programme for the market.

03 / What Elevio does

The commercial work between intent and opportunity.

Core problem

The manufacturer has entered the market, but coverage is incomplete, revenue is concentrated or prospecting has become inconsistent.

01

Audit existing market coverage

We establish what is already working and where current relationships, regions or channels create constraints.

  • Existing customers and distributor relationships
  • Regions and channels currently covered
  • Known competitors and account history
  • Current prospecting and follow-up process
02

Map commercial whitespace

We identify credible expansion routes without assuming every new company should become another distributor.

  • New importers or secondary distributors
  • Wholesalers and regional dealers
  • Direct accounts where channel structure permits
  • Adjacent buyer categories with clear product relevance
03

Research accounts and decision-makers

The target universe is built around uncovered opportunity and screened against channel or exclusivity constraints.

  • Account relevance and priority
  • Procurement and commercial roles
  • Supplier or assortment signals
  • Conflict and exclusion checks
04

Develop new and dormant opportunities

We run structured outreach and, where the client supplies suitable history, reactivate neglected conversations.

  • New-account outreach and follow-up
  • Dormant lead reactivation where relevant
  • Supplier-gap and sourcing-interest qualification
  • Pipeline handover with commercial context

04 / Process

A visible path from commercial question to buyer handover.

Each stage must create a usable decision or sales asset. Where evidence changes the direction, the plan changes with it.

  1. 01 / Audit

    Whitespace mapping

Find credible growth pockets across buyer types, geographies and routes to market.

    • Regions
    • Segments
    • Channels
    • Concentration
  3. 03 / Build

    Target-account universe

Research and prioritise new accounts using fit evidence and explicit exclusion rules.

    • Relevance
    • Evidence
    • Priority
    • Conflicts
  4. 04 / Reach

    Outreach and reactivation

Approach new decision-makers and revisit suitable dormant opportunities supplied by the client.

    • New outreach
    • Follow-up
    • Dormant leads
    • Messaging
  5. 05 / Qualify

    Expansion qualification

Clarify fit, sourcing interest, supplier gaps, commercial requirements and channel constraints.

    • Interest
    • Supplier gap
    • Requirements
    • Exclusivity

05 / Deliverables

What the manufacturer actually receives.

The exact volume and campaign boundary are scoped to the product, market and evidence available. We do not publish arbitrary buyer-count promises.

06 / Operating boundaries

What we do—and what we do not claim to do.

Elevio develops additional commercial coverage while respecting the manufacturer’s existing channel relationships, contractual constraints and account strategy.

Elevio owns

  • Audit account, region and channel coverage
  • Identify and verify expansion accounts
  • Map relevant decision-makers
  • Run outreach and relevant reactivation
  • Qualify additional sales opportunities

Elevio does not claim

  • Ignore distributor exclusivity or channel conflict
  • Contact restricted accounts without alignment
  • Replace the client’s responsibility for commercial negotiation
  • Act as freight, customs or documentation provider
  • Guarantee new accounts or revenue growth
Coordination rule

Existing agreements and account exclusions are reviewed before targeting. When exclusivity or channel conflict is unclear, outreach pauses until the manufacturer confirms the permitted boundary.

Illustrative example — not a case study

Example scenario

An Indian manufacturer already sells in the UAE through one importer but wants additional accounts. Elevio audits current coverage, maps uncovered buyer segments and systematically develops qualified opportunities that fit the manufacturer’s channel constraints.

07 / Qualification criteria

A useful engagement needs the right starting conditions.

Strong fit

  • Existing sales history in the target country
  • A clear reason to expand beyond current coverage
  • Visibility into active distributors and customers
  • Ability to define restricted or protected accounts
  • Capacity to support additional demand
  • A team ready to progress qualified opportunities

Poor fit

  • No existing market presence or customer learning
  • Unclear or disputed distributor rights
  • No permission to approach any additional channel partners
  • Expectation that outreach alone fixes product or pricing problems
  • No operational capacity for new accounts
  • A requirement for guaranteed sales volume

08 / FAQ

Practical questions before we begin.

Answers are intentionally specific about what Elevio can control, where specialist input may be required and what cannot be promised.

Can you help if we already have a distributor?

Yes, provided the commercial boundaries are clear. We first understand the distributor’s territory, channel coverage and contractual rights, then define which accounts or segments can be approached without creating avoidable conflict.

Do you contact competing distributors?

Only when the client confirms that doing so is commercially and contractually appropriate. Targeting is shaped around exclusivity, protected accounts, territories and the manufacturer’s channel strategy.

Can you target direct B2B buyers instead?

Where the product and channel structure support direct supply, yes. We assess direct accounts alongside importers, distributors, wholesalers and regional dealers rather than forcing one buyer type into every market.

Can you work from our existing prospect list?

Yes. We can review, verify and prioritise a supplied list, then combine it with newly researched accounts. Historical context and do-not-contact rules should be shared before outreach begins.

What if our current buyer has exclusivity?

The agreement must be reviewed by the manufacturer and, where necessary, qualified legal counsel. Elevio will not assume what the contract permits. We target only the accounts, regions or channels the client confirms are available.

Can you reactivate old trade-fair leads or enquiries?

Yes, when the client supplies the records and the contacts remain relevant. We separate viable dormant opportunities from outdated or restricted accounts and adapt the follow-up to the prior conversation.

Do you guarantee more export sales?

No. We build and qualify the opportunity pipeline, but commercial outcomes also depend on pricing, product, supply, terms, competition and the manufacturer’s sales follow-through.
