Local service website checklist for SEO and leads

A conversion and SEO checklist for clinics, gyms, real estate agents, home services, salons, and other local service businesses.

Above the fold

The first screen should say what you do, where you serve, who you help, why people trust you, and what action to take next.

For local services, add phone, WhatsApp, booking, or short form CTAs near the top. Mobile visitors should not have to hunt for contact options.

Pages that usually matter

Most local businesses need a homepage, service pages, location or city pages, about/trust page, reviews/proof section, FAQs, and contact page.

Do not make thin city pages. Each location page needs unique service details, local proof, FAQs, internal links, and a clear conversion path.

Tracking and follow-up

Track form submits, call clicks, WhatsApp clicks, and primary CTA clicks by page. Without this, you cannot tell which pages generate leads.

Lead response speed matters. A good local SEO page still leaks revenue if enquiries sit unseen in a database.

Turn this into leads

If your website has traffic but no enquiries, start with a teardown. We will identify the biggest leaks, the highest-intent page to fix first, and the fastest path to measurable leads.
